Kesha Shaw is a project coordinator with the web-based applications development team at The Hilltop Institute, where she oversees the development and maintenance of web-based systems, conducts analyses of business processes, conducts training sessions and end user testing, and provides technical assistance. She is the lead project manager/business analyst for the development of Maryland's Living at Home (LAH) Waiver Tracking System website, the Older Adults Waiver (OAW) Tracking System website, and MSDE School Health Services Survey sites. She also prepares system requirements documentation, acceptance test plans, training materials, and user manuals.
Prior to joining Hilltop, Ms. Shaw was a data specialist with the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. In this role, she managed systems development of a web-based tracking system for the LAH Waiver and was system administrator for the OAW Tracking System. She was also responsible for website, contract, and data management. Prior to this position, Ms. Shaw was a data specialist with the Maryland Department of Human Resources (DHR), where she served as project manager to assist with development and review project plans for McFred, a relational database to streamline eligibility processes; provided IT technical assistance; and was responsible for data management.
Ms. Shaw has a bachelor’s degree in business technology administration from UMBC. She has an associate of applied science degree in information technology. She is currently pursuing an M.B.A. degree from UMUC.
