Henderson and Mouslim describe their study of the prices of the 100 largest hospitals in the country, how they found that many hospitals were non-compliant with the rule from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that hospitals publish their prices, the importance of the data in the analysis, and the importance of this research.
