How We Developed the Hilltop Pre-AH Model™

In a new HillTopic post, Senior Data Scientist Dr. Morgan Henderson writes about how he and his Analytics & Research teammates Dr. Ian Stockwell and Dr. Fei Han conceptualized, developed, and implemented The Hilltop Institute’s “Predicting Avoidable Hospital Events” model—otherwise known as the Hilltop Pre-AH Model™. He also shares how the model is being used today by front line workers to better coordinate care for their clients as well as how Hilltop is refining the model to predict other adverse events. Two new Hilltop infographics detail the process. Read the blog.
